RentHelper (“the App”) is operated by Hongming Zuo (“we”, “our”, or “us”).

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the RentHelper iOS application.

Information Stored by the App

RentHelper allows users to manage rental property information, reports, expenses, income records, and related data.

Information entered into the App may include:

  • Property information
  • Rental records
  • Income and expense information
  • Notes and reports
  • AI-generated summaries
  • Scanned documents and attachments

This information is primarily stored locally on your device and may optionally sync through Apple iCloud services if enabled by the user.

AI Features

RentHelper may provide AI-generated summaries and insights using Apple Foundation Models and Apple Intelligence features when available on supported devices.

AI processing is performed on-device whenever possible. RentHelper does not upload your rental reports, financial information, or personal data to external AI servers for AI summary generation.

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies and should be independently reviewed by users.

iCloud Synchronization

If iCloud synchronization is enabled by the user, data may be securely stored and synchronized through Apple iCloud services.

Apple’s handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple’s own privacy policies and terms.

Advertising

The free version of RentHelper may display advertisements provided by Google AdMob.

Google may collect limited device information and advertising-related identifiers in accordance with their own privacy practices.

Premium subscriptions may remove advertisements within the App.

Analytics and Tracking

RentHelper does not use third-party analytics platforms for behavioral tracking or user profiling.

The App does not require account creation or user login.

Subscription Information

Subscriptions are processed securely through Apple App Store services.

RentHelper does not directly collect or store payment card information.

Subscription management, billing, and renewals are handled by Apple.

Exported Content

Users may export reports, PDFs, CSV files, or shared documents from the App.

Users are responsible for how exported files are stored, shared, or distributed outside the App.

Data Security

We strive to protect user information by minimizing data collection and prioritizing on-device storage whenever possible.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children’s Privacy

RentHelper is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights regarding access to, correction of, or deletion of your information.

Because most data is stored locally on your device, users generally maintain direct control over their own data.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time.

Updated versions will be posted with a revised “Last Updated” date.
