These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the RentHelper iOS application (“RentHelper”, “the App”), operated by Hongming Zuo (“we”, “our”, or “us”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the App

RentHelper is designed to help users organize rental property information, manage rental records, and generate rental-related reports and insights.

You agree to use the App only in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

No Professional Advice

RentHelper is provided for informational and organizational purposes only.

The App and its generated reports, analytics, or AI-based summaries do not constitute:

  • legal advice
  • tax advice
  • accounting advice
  • financial advice
  • investment advice

Users should consult qualified professionals for professional guidance regarding legal, tax, accounting, rental, or financial matters.

AI-Generated Content

The App may generate AI-based summaries, analytics, or insights using on-device AI technologies.

AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or errors. Users are solely responsible for independently reviewing and verifying generated content before relying on it.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content.

User Responsibilities

Users are responsible for:

  • maintaining backups of important information
  • verifying report accuracy
  • complying with local laws and regulations
  • protecting exported files and shared documents

You are solely responsible for how you use the App and any generated or exported content.

Subscriptions

RentHelper may offer optional auto-renewable monthly and yearly premium subscriptions.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period.

Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period.

You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store account settings after purchase.

Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

Advertisements

The free version of the App may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising providers.

We are not responsible for third-party advertisements, external websites, or third-party services.

Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in RentHelper, including its software, design, branding, content, and related intellectual property, remain the property of Hongming Zuo unless otherwise stated.

Users may not:

  • copy
  • reverse engineer
  • redistribute
  • commercially exploit

any part of the App without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RentHelper and Hongming Zuo shall not be liable for any:

  • data loss
  • financial loss
  • rental disputes
  • tax issues
  • inaccurate reports
  • AI-generated errors
  • business interruption
  • indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Use of the App is at your own risk.

Disclaimer Regarding Apple

These Terms are between you and Hongming Zuo only, and not with Apple Inc.

Apple is not responsible for the App, its content, maintenance, support, or any claims related to the App.

Apple Standard EULA

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, your use of the App may also be subject to Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement (EULA):

Changes to the App

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App at any time without prior notice.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

Continued use of the App after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
